NYC Restaurants With New Takeout & Delivery Options
Find something great to eat for dinner at home, and support NYC restaurants while you’re at it.
Even though we can’t sit in restaurants and bars right now, we can support them (and eat something great) by ordering their food and drinks. As things change quickly, more restaurants and bars are getting into takeout and/or delivery, and others are offering new specials. Use this guide to find a great new takeout option in your neighborhood. We’ll keep updating this guide with more information as we get it, so stay tuned, and stay well. Got a restaurant or bar tip? Greenwich Village, West Village, Tribeca
L’Artusi in the West Village started takeout and delivery service on June 1st, including a new burger with taleggio, pickled chili aioli, tomato, and arugula. They also have large-format meal kits you can cook at home available for pick-up. Check out their takeout options on their website here.
Llama San in the West Village and Llama Inn in Williamsburg are offering takeout and delivery. You can find the Llama San takeout menu (including their weekly-changing special) here.

You can now order Houseman’s famous burger (along with things like roast chicken, a salad, and some cocktails) for takeout or delivery online. Houseman is also selling fish dinners for pick-up at their restaurant and in the North Fork. Check out their website here and their Instagram here for information about delivery and pick-up.
The Chelsea Market and Tribeca locations of Los Tacos No. 1 are now open for takeout and delivery. In addition to their normal menu of quesadillas, tacos, and mulas, they’re offering a huge DIY family-style taco platter. You can place your order in person or ahead of time online here. Niche Niche started selling wine, groceries, and meal kits for takeout and delivery. Also, Tokyo Record Bar reopened their takeout and delivery operation with things like bento boxes, a la carte options, and a seven-course izakaya set that comes with a new playlist every week. As of Thursday June 11th, Loring Place in Greenwich Village launched a takeout service with things like dinner kits for two, pizza, kids’ meals, and cocktail kits. See their menu and pre-order on their website here
Blue Hill in the city and Blue Hill at Stone Barns in Tarrytown have a few takeout box options for fresh produce, prepared food, bread, meat, and wine. They’re only available for pick-up, and you can schedule yours on their website - where there’s also an option to donate a box to hospital workers.
La Contenta Oeste is delivering their fish tacos and cocktails right to your door every day between noon and 8pm. They have contactless pick-up as well as delivery, and you can place your order by calling 212-533-2233 or going online.
Don Angie is offering delivery and takeout service beginning Thursday, June 11th. They’re open from Wednesday to Sunday between 4:30pm and 9:30pm, and you can place your order through their website or over the phone.
There’s typically a line outside of this Greenwich Village sushi spot, mostly due to the fact that it’s in Greenwich Village, their sushi tastes great, and none of it costs too much. Now you can order that same sushi that people wait on the street for, right to your apartment by calling 212-777-9346.
If you live near the West Village Shake Shack, you can pick up their limited-edition steak frites (it’s a ribeye served with fries and watercress).
This high-end sushi spot started offering a $60 set that comes with soup, and a chirashi bowl with seven kinds of fish, rice, tamago, and pickled squash. It also comes with a side of soup. To place your pick-up or delivery order, call 212-367-2067.
In addition to full takeout menus, both of Fiaschetteria Pistoia’s locations are selling Tuscan bento boxes with fresh pasta for you to make at home. It’s like a cooking class that you don’t have to put on pants for.
Tokyo Record Bar and Niche Niche are collaborating on a bunch of daily-changing specials, so make sure to check their Instagram page for details. They’re also selling their inventory of sake and Champagne. It’s only available for pick-up right now, and you can schedule yours on Resy.
We once saw Rami Malek on a date at Dante. It was an intimate scene and we were excited to witness it. Put on Mr. Robot while you drink one of Dante’s to-go negronis, and you’ll sort of know what we felt like in that moment. (Yes, you can be his date in this scenario).
Carbone is now doing delivery here. Yes, we know. We plan on ordering spicy rigatoni with vodka sauce to our apartments too.
Imagine. You had a long, stressful day. The doorbell buzzes. Behold! A dry-aged ribeye patty and a sweet little mound of caramelized onions, all on a lightly toasted brioche bun. Yes, Minetta Tavern’s black label burger can be yours. All you have to do is call order online or call 212-475-3850 between 5 and 10pm.
Soho, Nolita, Flatiron, Gramercy, Noho, Union Square, Nomad, Chelsea
Atomix
As of late July, Atomix is offering a four-course delivery or takeout experience. The “at-home” tasting menu changes all the time, but you can expect Korean twists that are unlike anything else you’ll find at a traditional Korean spot. It costs $125 per person, and you can place your order here.
As of June 10th, Shuko near Union Square has reopened for limited takeout service. They’re open Wednesday through Saturday from 1pm to 8:30pm, and you can order directly through their website here.
Scarpetta
After reopening for takeout and delivery service on June 2nd, Scarpetta donated 100% of their first week of delivery revenues to the Food Education Fund. In addition to their typical menu, they’re offering a weekly-changing dish designed by one of their employees that highlights that person’s background. You can check out their takeout and delivery menu here (note that their pick-up location is 109 E 56th street, which is different than their regular restaurant address).
Pasquale Jones recently started takeout and delivery, including clam pizza, wine, and lasagna. Their full takeout menu is available online, and you can also stop by their Nolita takeout window in person.
Starting Tuesday May 26th, ABC Kitchen, ABC Cocina, and ABCv have joined forces for a combined takeout and delivery service called ABC to go. The menu has classics from all three restaurants, and you can place your order online from 4pm to 9pm here.
Il Buco Alimentari in Noho is now serving some of their classic dishes for takeout and delivery. You can also order a kit of fresh pasta that serves about six people (are you quarantining with six people?), as well as to-go drinks and Italian specialty groceries. Atla and Cosme have consolidated their takeout and delivery service into one online operation. So if you’re desperately searching for a way to make your night better, there’s a pound of duck carnitas to answer your prayers (as well as a corn husk meringue).
Our website can’t ring the alarm on command, but just imagine that that’s exactly what’s happening right now: Zooba is now open for Egyptian takeout and delivery in Nolita. And since your hummus and turkey sandwiches have lost their shine, it couldn’t have come at a better time. You can place your order for pitas filled with spicy taameya and beef hawawashi directly through their website here.

In addition to running a community kitchen that donates meals to healthcare workers, Tacombi’s Nolita location has delivery and takeout that you can order directly through their website.
Atoboy has a few different family meals that can feed between two and six people who you may or may not be related to (or just you, several timesI. They also have a la carte options like gochujang chicken and fish cakes with shishito peppers. It’s all available for dinner delivery or takeout, and you can place your order online.
For a bowl of something warmer than the cereal you’ve been staring at for an hour, you can now order takeout and delivery from Jun Men Ramen. This Chelsea spot is open for lunch and dinner service, with a selected menu of dishes like spicy pork bone ramen and fried rice with Chinese sausage. If you’re ordering takeout, you can go directly through their website here.
Charley Street in Nolita made their own delivery and takeout app where you can customize things like breakfast bowls and salads. They’re also offering coffee pickup every day from 8am to 2pm.
Have a drunken Russian feast prepared especially for you. This Russian restaurant in Flatiron offers flights of infused vodka to go, along with things like veal pelmeni and blinis with caviar. They start taking online orders at 3pm, in case you’re planning a big Saturday afternoon in.
If you’re in the mood for sushi, you should know that Hall in Chelsea has a few different options that you usually can’t get for delivery, like a 10-piece sushi set for $23 and a chef’s omakase that costs $98 and comes with 20 pieces of nigiri. There are also some burgers to choose from, as well as wine and beer available for delivery and pick-up online.
In addition to their menu of dim sum available for pick-up and delivery, Nom Wah Nolita is also selling 1.5 pounds of frozen dumplings of all kinds as well as dumpling t-shirts online. You can find more information on their website here.
Ordinarily, you need a secret phone number and a personal reference to get a table at Bohemian. Now, you can just call 212-388-1070 or go online to place your pick-up or delivery order. Check their Instagram highlights for the full drink and food menus. A teaser: they’re offering full bottles of whiskey and an eel and foie gras sushi set.
If you’re celebrating something special, like a birthday or the anniversary of keeping your apartment clean for more than a week straight, consider ordering a meat feast from Cote directly through their website here. In addition to their Korean barbecue specials, they also have a new Cote wine shop you can order takeout and delivery from here.
If you live within walking distance of Nolita, know that Emilio’s Ballato is now taking pick-up orders by phone. Their menu changes almost everyday, and they’re recommending that you place orders in advance - which simply means more time to get excited about chicken parm, spaghetti, and meatballs. Just call 212-274-8881.
In collaboration with Uncle Boons and Uncle Boons Sister, Thai Diner has delivery and takeout service between noon and 9pm every day. If you’re wondering whether Thai Tea Babka French Toast will travel well, there’s only one way to find out. If you’re near Flatiron, you can order takeout or delivery from Rezdora online. They have a bunch of pastas, mains, and gelato available, as well as their entire list of Northern Italian wines at retail value.
East Village, Lower East Side & Chinatown
Terra Thai
Terra Thai, a new Thai restaurant in the East Village, recently opened in the spot where Eat’s Khao Man Gai used to be on East 6th Street. They’re serving takeout dishes like pork curry and Thai tea ice cream, and you can place your delivery or pick-up order directly through their website here.
Both the LES and East Village Factory Tamal locations are now open for takeout and delivery. Place your order for things like gazpacho, tamales with mole poblano and chicken, and tortas on their website here.
A Roman-style restaurant called Forsythia opened on the Lower East Side from a chef who used to work at Olmsted and Rezdora (although they’re currently operating takeout service out of an East Village location on East 7th Street). Forsythia has a weekly-changing meal kit that comes with four courses and costs $30 per person. Check out their menu and pre-order here.
After focusing their takeout operation on wine, Hearth in the East Village started serving dinner. You can place your order for takeout or delivery online.
We’re going to go out on a limb and say that you’ve probably spent at least one merry night drinking margaritas and eating tacos at Empellon Al Pastor in the East Village. We can’t bring you back to that night (we’d really love to, we promise), but we can suggest you go pick up a frozen mezcal piña colada from their spot on St. Marks. If you just want to order some tacos, you can go online for delivery - but they’re only serving frozen cocktails for pick-up right now.
While you can’t currently sit in Great NY Noodletown late at night and gorge yourself on roast pork and wonton soup, you can now do that very activity at home. This classic Cantonese spot in Chinatown recently reopened for takeout and delivery, and they’re accepting orders online (just know they stop delivery service at 9pm every day).
There’s a new cocktail bar on East 6th Street between A and B called The Pineapple Club with a takeout window and things like a mezcal ginger margarita and a cheeseburger with fries. If you’re not wandering around the East Village, you can place your takeout and delivery order through their website here.
Both the East Village and Bryant Park locations of Málà Project are back open for takeout and delivery from noon to 9pm every day. You can check out their menu and place your order for things like customized dry pot and garlicky eggplant online.
If you live near the East Village and you’ve been hankering for fish that doesn’t come out of a can, you can now text 1-347-688-8101 to place your Sushi By M pick-up order. They’re offering a few different to-go omakase options as well as donburi and maki roll combos. Check out their Instagram page here for more information about their menu and pricing.
Shopsins is sort of like birdwatching or Tik Tok. You’re either obsessed with it or you have no real understanding of what it entails. For those in the former category, know that all of your favorite macaroni-stuffed pancakes and gargantuan sandwiches are available for pick-up in Essex Market. You can see their menu and place your order here.
Cocoron’s soba has made us feel safe and loved for many years - and they’ve recently started offering takeout and delivery completely operated by their restaurant staff. In addition to mera mera soba, Cocoron is selling packaged broth, curry, and noodles that you can use to stock your fridge. To place your order, you can call or text 212-226-1262 or DM them on Instagram between noon and 7:30pm.
Contra and Wildair have a delivery and takeout menu available online, including dishes like lamb birria bowls, crab congee, and a chocolate dirt cup with cherry-shaped gummies. The operation is called “Contrair,” which is sort of like the “Brangelina” or “Kimye” of the delivery business, and they’re now taking delivering to Brooklyn (as well as most of Manhattan). You can place your order directly through their website here.
Cervo’s is accepting pick-up orders from noon on Thursday to noon on Friday for things like wine, ham, anchovies, and tons of other stuff you can stock your fridge with. All pick-ups happen on Saturday from 11am-4pm, and you can see their full list of supplies and food here (and put yourself on the pre-order list for their pink Cervo’s hat’s).
Otaku Katsu
Have you or your loved ones tried to deep fry a pork cutlet on your electric stove top? How did that work out for you? This feels like a good time to announce that Otaku Katsu on the LES is open for takeout and delivery service. You can go to their website to place your order for things like okonomiyaki fries and a BEC katsu with a duck egg, bechamel, and gruyere.
If you’re in the mood for something light or lunch that isn’t frozen, know that Good Thanks on the LES opened with a new takeout menu of sandwiches, sausage rolls, and salads. You can place your order through their website here.
Thursday Kitchen now has pick-up available via phone at 646-755-8088 or online. Yes, that includes their alcoholic Capri Sun packs - as well as a bunch of other good stuff like cauliflower fried rice, crispy chicken, and lobster mac and cheese.
Some good news for everyone in Lower Manhattan who easily falls prey to nostalgia and good deals, Golden Diner started serving a weekly-changing “Happy Meal.” Each one costs $7, and comes with enough food for a whole meal (so far, they’ve done spicy dan dan noodles and tempura-baked cod with garlic fried rice and broccoli). The Happy Meals are available for pick-up and delivery, and you can call 917-472-7800 or go through Golden Diner’s website here to schedule yours. In case you want other options, Golden Diner’s regular menu is also online for delivery and pick-up.
After years of doing pop-ups around the city, Saigon Social officially has its own location on a sunny corner of the Lower East Side (formerly Mission Taqueria). They’re currently offering a rotating menu of takeout and delivery menu of Vietnamese dishes, like a bowl of chicken pho which has enough rich chicken broth, fresh cilantro, and spicy chillis to inspire you to stand up on your couch and do a power pose out of sheer adrenaline. Wah Fung No. 1 Fast Food
If you’re near Chinatown in Manhattan, you can now stop by Wah Fung No. 1 Fast Food to pick up Cantonese meats like duck and roast pork over rice.
Strings Ramen
If you text your friend from Chicago asking about Strings Ramen, they’ll probably sigh and share a fond memory of eating spicy ramen during the dead of winter back in 2015. This chain’s East Village location opened up just a few weeks before restaurants had to close down, and they’re back open for takeout and delivery online.
Say you’re feeling down about not going out this weekend like you normally do, consider ordering a “Disco Kit” from Joyface in the East Village. Each one comes with snacks, drinks, Joyface-branded rolling papers, and a battery-operated disco ball. These are available for pick-up and delivery between 5pm and 10pm - and you certainly don’t have to tell them that you live alone in a studio apartment. After closing for about two months, Green Garden Village is now serving a large portion of their Cantonese menu for takeout. You can stop by their restaurant on Grand Street street to pick up barbecued meats, wonton soup, and crab fried rice.
If you want to stock up on wine or you’re looking for a gift to send to a friend, consider some bottles from Peoples. This LES wine shop and bar is delivering their inventory all around the city. Just email delivery@peoples.wine with your name, phone number, address, the type of wine you like, and your ideal price range per bottle. You can check their Instagram for more details and updates.
Angel Share in the East Village has fancy cocktails available for pick-up every day between 2 and 7pm. Sure, you may be working alone in your apartment at 5:45pm, but it’s possible you’ll be happier working alone in your apartment at 5:45pm if you have a gazpacho vodka cocktail in hand. This excellent Chinatown restaurant is doing their own delivery and takeout for the first time ever. So if you’re planning a Big Night In, or had a wonderful premonition about a bowl of mapo tofu and a gargantuan Peking duck, all you have to do is call 212-966-6002 or go online to place your order.
Sauce Pizzeria
Order a pie from Sauce in Harold Square or the LES and you’ll be able to donate a second pizza to a local hospital. Once you do that, Sauce will match that pizza and deliver another to that same hospital. Also - their East Village location is only open for frozen pizzas, in case you want to stock your fridge.
Ends Meat
We’re guessing you’ve been eating more sandwiches than usual these days. We’re also guessing your current deli meat isn’t as good as what you can get at Ends Meat. Their Industry City and Market Line locations are both delivering meat, sandwiches, and sides like pickles and olives all over Manhattan and Brooklyn right now (call 929-306-6014 for Manhattan, and 718-801-8895 for Brooklyn). They’re available every day, just make sure to place your order before 4pm.
If you’re like us, eating the buttery French food at Le French Diner in the LES is a therapeutic exercise not unlike walking around the block or doing a sun salutation. Thankfully, that doesn’t have to stop now since they’re offering pick-up at their restaurant. Go online or call 212-777-1577 to place your order.
Both LES and Navy Yard locations of Russ & Daughters are open for carryout. They request that you call in advance to place your lox and schmear order over the phone, and if you’d prefer delivery, you can order from their Jewish Museum store on here. Also - Russ & Daughters ships care packages nationwide, and your friend in another state could really use a dozen bagels right now.
In addition to their full takeout and delivery menu, this Malaysian cafe on the Lower East Side is selling their white coffee and Kopi beans on their website here.
Both the Williamsburg and LES locations of Kings County Imperial are offering delivery without fees every day between 3 and 10pm. They also have lunch specials and tiki cocktails that you can get straight to your apartment.
Hearth has a wine window at Brodo (their soup place in the neighborhood) where you can pick-up 50% off bottles. They’re also taking orders for broth to-go. You can follow their updates on their Instagram page here
Midtown, Uptown, Harlem
Kang Ho Dong Baekjeong in Koreatown now has delivery or pickup available on Thursdays, Fridays, or Saturdays. You can pre-order through their website here. Also, they’re offering delivery to New Jersey and Queens for any order over $100.
Seasoned Vegan
Starting on June 3rd, Seasoned Vegan will be back open for vegan Soul food takeout and delivery. Give them a call at 212-222-0092, and check their Instagram for updates.
Sugar Monk, a cocktail bar in Harlem, is selling bottled cocktails for delivery or pick-up Tuesday, Friday, and Saturdays from 4pm to 10pm. Just know that there’s a minimum of two cocktails for every delivery order.
Akdeniz on 46th Street in Midtown reopened for takeout and delivery. You can see their menu of Turkish and Mediterranean dishes and place your order through their website here.
Quality Italian is offering delivery and takeout service beginning Thursday, June 11th. They’re open from Wednesday to Sunday between 4:30pm and 9:30pm, and you can place your order through their website or over the phone.
Mountain Bird on 2nd Avenue and 111th Street just started their own delivery service. If you live in the East Harlem or UES area, you can text your name and address to 718-510-2404 and they’ll arrange the details of your order with you.
Tiki Chick on the UWS recently extended their takeout hours to every day until 9pm on weekdays and 10pm on weekends. Plus, all of their sandwiches (like honey hot chicken and spam and cheese) cost $5 with any frozen cocktail. Check out their menu and other specials on their Instagram page here.
If you’re on the UWS, know that this Japanese spot recently opened a takeout window where you can pick up cocktails, bottles of sake, and snacks like gyoza and chicken wings. In case you aren’t able to fetch a bottle of sake yourself, Moonrise Izakaya is also offering delivery service through a few different online platforms.
ROKC started takeout and delivery in the Hamilton Heights and Harlem area. They’re serving to-go cocktails, ramen, rice bowls, and other drinks every day between noon and 9pm.
Málà Project Midtown West
tBoth the East Village and Bryant Park locations of Málà Project are back open for takeout and delivery from noon to 9pm every day. You can check out their menu and place your order for things like customized dry pot and garlicky eggplant online.
And now for something we never thought we’d say: Chef’s Table At Brooklyn Fare has takeout and delivery available online. The menu is divided into courses but everything is a la carte (including dishes like braised beef cheeks with ramp pasta, crab cakes, and an expensive slice of cake). They only accept orders two days in advance.
In even more deluxe and slightly befuddling news, Masa is offering to-go sushi boxes every Friday night for $800 a pop. There are only twenty available every week, and each one feeds up to the four people.
Chances are, you don’t really know that you want a large meat pie until you process the words “large meat pies.” If you’re on the UES and having that exact experience right now, know that James Wood Foundry on the UES is offering a few different kinds of savory pies for takeout and delivery (along with other pub specialities).
Kaia Wine Bar on the UES is offering a bunch of wine and picnic kits for pick-up or delivery from noon to 8pm every day. They’re also running their own farmers market with goods available for pick-up. You can check out their website for more details.
Reverence in Harlem has rotating, three-course bento boxes for pick-up. They’re only available on weekends, and you can pre-order yours through their website.
Marea in Columbus Circle now has takeout and delivery available through their website here. You can place your order for things like fusilli and negronis through Marea’s website and other online takeout platforms. They also have their Reserve Wine List available if you want to really shake up your Wednesday night in.
In addition to their typical menu of seafood, Lolo’s in Harlem has a bunch of changing specials available for pick-up and delivery. They post all of their updates on their Instagram page here.
Sauce Pizzeria
Order a pie from Sauce in Harold Square or the LES and you’ll be able to donate a second pizza to a local hospital. Once you do that, Sauce will match that pizza and deliver another to that same hospital. Also, their East Village location is only open for frozen pizzas, in case you want to stock your fridge.
In addition to their regular takeout and delivery menu, Bronx Drafthouse has a $19.95 Cheeseburger special that comes with fries and two craft beers of your choice. They’re open every day from noon to 10pm, and you can place your order online or by calling 929-265-9759.
Not only does THEP on the UES have their own delivery and pick-up service through their website, but they’re offering 15% off your first order and 10% off anything in the future. So if you live near the UES and see yourself ordering a lot of duck curry over the next period of your life, this is essential info.
Vinateria in Harlem is now offering 20% off bottles of wine with your order (as well as to-go cocktails). They’re not doing any pick-up orders right now, so you’ll have to opt for staying in your pajamas and fuzzy socks while you wait for your short rib mafalde and bottle of red.
You could feasibly order breakfast, lunch, and dinner from The Uptown Garrison in Washington Heights, since they’re serving their full all-day menu. (We were thinking maybe chicken and waffles for breakfast, a chopped salad for lunch, and a meatball melt for dinner.) Call 917-261-4680 to place your takeout or delivery order - or order through any major delivery platform.
Here are two pieces of information that will convince you to order from Marlow Bistro on the UWS: the first is that they serve a pizza with za’atar and burrata on top. The second is that they’re offering a 20% discount on all pick-up and delivery orders if you call 212-662-9020 directly.
For the first time ever, Melba’s in Harlem is making their soul food available for delivery. They’ll be taking orders for mac and cheese, wine-braised short ribs and so much more on all major platforms between noon and 9pm.
Typically, Mama’s Too on the UWS only delivers full pies. But as of now, you can order four-slice half-pies. There’s no rule, however, that says you can’t order full pies and subsist off of delicious pizza for several days. Also, they’ve been trying new specials like pizza kits. You could certainly spend time brainstorming ways to recreate Miznon’s famous “run-over” potato at home without injuring an innocent wine bottle or rolling pin. You could also order from Miznon’s UWS location. They make all of their grocery deliveries on Friday afternoons.
Williamsburg, Bed-Stuy, Greenpoint

Paulie Gee’s Slice Shop is now available for pick-up and delivery online. We wouldn’t ever judge you for ordering a single slice for delivery or take-out, but know that there are also full pies available (and plenty of vegan options, too).

A new cafe on Wyckoff Avenue in Bushwick just opened called High Low Beverage Company. They’re currently serving things like a BEC banh mi, pandan coconut pastries, beer, and coffee for takeout.
