Google Maps will say that you’ve arrived at Rooftop Reds, but you’ll look around the Brooklyn Navy Yard and find nothing but warehouses and construction sites. Then you’ll walk up the stairs of Building #275 towards the back of the grounds and into a very fun wine bar that’s also one of the most unique rooftops in the city. The huge space is packed with people playing cornhole, laying on hammocks, and drinking at picnic tables with great views of Manhattan. Besides the wines that all come from their vineyard upstate, they also serve beer. Just know that it’s reservation-only.

Mr. Purple is the restaurant/bar on top of Hotel Indigo on the Lower East Side. It’s a good place to grab a drink with a group, but it does get busy.

Good Story Rooftop Lounge review image
Review

Good Story is the rooftop bar at the Arlo Soho hotel, and, as far as rooftop bars go, it’s a pretty pleasant place to hang with a group downtown.
