Page 4Crave Fishbar
Crave is a laid-back seafood restaurant that takes you out of the misery of Midtown East.
Prova Pizzabar
For a quick and not-too-expensive sit-down meal inside Grand Central, Prova Pizzabar is worth knowing about.
Shake Shack Times Square
We’re happy to report that this increase in Shake Shake quantity has had no ill effects on the quality. Just be aware going in, Shake Shack Times Square is quite the tourist attraction.
Madangsui
It seems like lately, all of the Korean food we’ve been eating has been of the “trendy re-interpretation” variety. While we’re fine with that, occasionally we get a craving for a more traditional meal, and for that, we head to Madangsui.
Brooklyn Crab
Brooklyn Crab is one of the most unique outdoor dining destinations in NYC for two reasons: crabs and mini golf.
Bassanova Ramen
Bassanova is a below-ground Japanese spot in Chinatown where you can get an excellent bowl of creamy green curry ramen.
The Smith
The Smith is a chain restaurant that started in the East Village, and it’s sort of like a mid-tier sedan. Not too flashy, but it gets the job done.
Yefsi
An unexpectedly great Greek restaurant on York Avenue. If we just had a better way to get up here, we'd be here all the time. Who wants to carpool?
The Smith Lincoln Center
That's right, another Infatuation review for yet another location of The Smith. Why? Because The Smith is always there when you need it to be. Sometimes for the food. Sometimes for the bathroom. Either way, it's there, and it's good.
Osteria Laguna
Osteria Laguna is an Italian restaurant near Grand Central with enough space for a big group (or just you and some pizza and wine).
Cowgirl Sea-Horse
For a relatively cheap place with ample space and good drinks, I’m not complaining. For the Seaport, it’s definitely a good option. Put this restaurant anywhere else though, and we’d keep on walking.
The Ribbon
Finally, the kind of restaurant the Upper West Side has long been starved for. The Ribbon has style and substance and does classic food right.
The Smith Midtown
If Midtown East is the final frontier of food-obsessed New York City, The Smith Midtown is the Starship Enterprise.
Pizza Beach
Pizza Beach is great if you're looking to Instagram your dinner. It's not great if you're looking to eat good pizza.
Rucola
After three years and a whole bunch of hype, how much you like Rucola still largely depends on how far you live from it.
The Meatball Shop Chelsea
Reliable, delicious, and full of balls. If there’s not at Meatball Shop near you already, there will be soon. This thing is about to go full Shake Shack.
Dinosaur Bar-B-Que
Dinosaur BBQ isn’t the best barbecue you’ll ever eat. It is, however, our kind of dining establishment.
Buttermilk Channel
Buttermilk Channel is a true Brooklyn Neighborhood Hang serving some of the best fried chicken in town.
Good Enough To Eat
The Upper West Side may not be flush with noteworthy dining out options, but they certainly have one meal on lockdown – brunch. Good Enough To Eat has been an institution up in these parts for a good 30 years, and a spot we'll happily go to for simple, heavy handed home cooking.
Golden Diner
Golden Diner in Chinatown serves modern diner classics. Unlike most diners, though, it’s worth planning a meal here a week in advance.
Patsy’s Pizza
The original Patsy’s in East Harlem makes excellent pizza for a sit-down meal or a slice at the counter.
Peppa’s Jerk Chicken
The LES location of Peppa's Jerk Chicken serves Jamaican food that's just as delicious as what you'll find at their other spots in Brooklyn.
Edward's Restaurant
Edward's is a casual place in Tribeca to grab a burger, some tacos, or a nice piece of fish.
Denino’s
The original Denino’s is a big Staten Island pizza place in Port Richmond with great thin-crust pies.
