East Village
East Village
Page 5Brodo
The hottest new restaurant concept in the East Village serves one thing: soup broth. And we're pretty convinced it's a brilliant, elaborate hoax.
Zaragoza Grocery
Zaragoza is a longstanding Mexican deli in the East Village where you can get a couple of tacos, tamarind candy, and a jar of green enchilada sauce.
Boulton & Watt
Boulton & Watt is a solid neighborhood hang with average bar food and some TVs for sports viewing purposes. Adjust expectations accordingly.
Mighty Quinn’s Barbecue
One of the best BBQ options in New York City, Might Quinn’s started at Smorgasburg and is becoming a smoked meat empire.
Bowery Meat Company
An East Village steakhouse that doesn’t really feel like a steakhouse. And that’s a good thing.
Il Posto Accanto
Il Posto Accanto in the East Village is home to some of the best meatballs and pastas in town. Plus, it has a great wine list and open air dining.
Village Yokocho
A great East Village date night spot, especially when you get the adjacent cocktail lounge, Angel's Share, involved.
Narcissa
Narcissa is an American spot in the Standard East Village with a space you’ll want to hang out in, but food we can’t really recommend.
Rosie's
There's nothing memorable about the Mexican food at Rosie's, but it's a nice enough space for a margarita and guacamole.
Frangos Peri Peri
Frangos is a Portuguese counter-service spot in the East Village that’s all about peri peri sauce.
Frank
A legendary East Village Italian restaurant that we have decided we can now only visit when nobody else will be eating there. Like at 3pm on a Tuesday.
Motorino
Motorino isn't the best pizza in New York City, but it is one of our most frequented pizza joints in town.
Esperanto
A local Infatuation mainstay, Esperanto’s got that little something special that that’s kept it in heavy rotation.
Artichoke
Come on people, this is completely out of control. It's Thursday night at 2:30am and there's a line forty deep for a slice of pizza? That's just stupid.
Ducks Eatery
For some reason, everything at Ducks Eatery is so over spiced, over smoked, and overthought that none of it works. The beef jerky has squid ink on it. Why?
Beyond Sushi
A place that specializes in vegan sushi. Yes, it sounds ridiculous. Before you write it off, let us explain.
The Smith
The Smith is a chain restaurant that started in the East Village, and it’s sort of like a mid-tier sedan. Not too flashy, but it gets the job done.

High quality East Village omakase sushi for under $100, with a side of club music if you come on the weekend.
The Black Ant
The Black Ant is a Mexican restaurant in the East Village with good cocktails and less-good food.
Taqueria Diana
This is not a taqueria. This is a temple to the holy Mission burrito. Pray before it, lest you be forsaken.
Balade
A laid back Lebanese eatery that gets Stang’s stamp of approval. The service is good, people are friendly, and you can eat your face off for about twenty bucks a person.
