Glasserie
For almost a decade, Glasserie has quietly continued to serve some of the very best food in Greenpoint.
Al Di La
Al Di La is the ultimate neighborhood Italian restaurant. If you live in Park Slope, congratulations.
Greenpoint Fish and Lobster
Greenpoint Fish and Lobster is a great place for affordable seafood in Brooklyn.
Tatiana Restaurant & Nightclub
At the always-interesting Tatiana Restaurant & Night Club on the Brighton Beach boardwalk, dinner is about more than just the food. It's about fire gymnastics too.
Maison Premiere
Maison Premiere is the coolest place in Williamsburg to eat oysters and drink cocktails.
Court Street Grocers
Some of the best sandwiches in Brooklyn. Court Street Grocers is a Carroll Gardens favorite, but it's good enough to travel for, too.
Gran Electrica
Gran Electrica serves simple, excellent Mexican food and creative cocktails. It also has a great back patio.
Bozu
For all of the things that Williamsburg does have when it comes to restaurants, one thing it doesn’t seem to have is excellent sushi. Unfortunately, Bozu only proves that point.
Calaca
Calaca is a little cash-only Mexican spot in Bed-Stuy where you should drink flights of tequila while eating some great tacos and tostadas.
Tom’s Restaurant
Tom’s is a Brooklyn classic for breakfast and lunch since 1936. You know what’s kept them in business for so long? Free stuff. That, and really good sausage.
1 Or 8
For the locals, 1 Or 8 is surely a nice addition to a rather sushi-less area. However, for those of us who have to travel, 1 Or 8 is completely out of the question.
Tortilleria Los Hermanos
Down the street from the L train Jefferson stop in Bushwick, you'll find the a garage serving some of the city’s best tacos.
Bathhouse
Bathhouse is an Eastern European restaurant in Williamsburg that serves some of the best food you can eat in a robe.
East Harbor Seafood Palace
East Harbor Seafood Palace is our favorite dim sum spot in Sunset Park. Bring a group, and anticipate a wait.
Popina
Popina is a tiny, casual restaurant on the Brooklyn waterfront. The food is a mix of Southern and Italian, and they do some great chicken and pasta.
Antica Pesa
Antica Pesa is both crazy and endearing, and a far cry from some of the other restaurants around here that hand you some food and a paper napkin and then wait for you to leave.
Bar Bolinas
Bar Bolinas is a Clinton Hill restaurant that is very good for one thing: eating a burger outside.
Petite Crevette
A Carroll Gardens neighborhood seafood gem, where the chef might throw a lobster at you. God bless this city.
Bar San Miguel
A Carroll Gardens Mexican bar and restaurant, owned by Jim Cramer from CNBC. Surprisingly, it is entirely devoid of yelling. It’s pretty damn good, too.
Morgan's BBQ
Morgan’s BBQ is some of the best barbecue you can get without having to go down to Red Hook for Hometown.
Bonnie's Grill
Bonnie's Grill is a great neighborhood spot with a full menu of divey bar food classics. However, we still need better options for wings in the city, and Bonnie's doesn't quite make the cut.
The Turk’s Inn
The Turk’s Inn is a fun spot in Bushwick modeled on an old Wisconsin supper club. You mostly go for the atmosphere, but the food is pretty decent.
