Simply Desserts is a little bakery with an important lemon blueberry cake. It’s acceptable to buy it whole and tell everyone it’s for a friend’s birthday, but then drive home like a maniac and chip away at it every few hours with a plastic spork. We fully endorse eating it for dinner, and then again for breakfast, because blueberries are healthy.

Bakery Nouveau is an excellent Capitol Hill bakery we like most for the twice baked almond croissant and croque monsieur.
For breakfast on the go in Belltown, go for a breakfast sandwich at Dahlia (there are only four seats there). And couple coconut cream pie bites.
Some of the best ice cream in the city is hiding away in Kurt Farm Shop in Chophouse Row. And they have flavors from mint to salted plum.
Tallulah’s is one of the best - and most attractive - places to eat brunch in Cap Hill. Bring someone who won’t mind you taking pictures of your eggs.
