Távolata is a good Italian standby to have if it’s a weeknight and you’re planning to be near downtown. It’s centrally-located in Belltown, there’s one long table that runs down the middle of the dining room, reservations are really easy to make, and they have a killer carbonara. Plan a date night or group dinner, and then all you have to worry about is how many bottles of wine and homemade pastas you’re going to pass around with whoever you come with. There are no wrong answers here.
