Brass Tacks is a slightly grungy gastropub with truly excellent brisket mac and cheese. They also have a wall of hanging plants, a great selection of beers, and a stage for live music. Use Brass Tacks for a casual weeknight group dinner or a low-key weekend date, sharing the aforementioned mac and cheese and some sliders.
It doesn’t get much more divey than Georgetown Liquor Company, but you’re here for the vegetarian bar food and retro video games.
