The easiest way to explain Dill & Parsley would be to call it a Mediterranean Chipotle. But that association would do this place a disservice. For a fast casual spot, the food here is really great. You pick a bowl, a pita sandwich, or a wrap, and you fill it with your choice of vegetables, proteins, salads, toppings, and sauces, many of which are fully organic.

Barbounia is definitely not our jam. It’s way too expensive for what they’re serving, and the grandiose and gaudy decor makes it feel like some sort of vaguely Mediterranean performance hall. Like at any moment one of the bus boys might start juggling.
The food at Amali is both interesting and delicious, which makes it stand out from the rest of the overpriced stuff in the neighborhood.
