You’ll feel like a kid again at Mister Dips, which got its start serving burgers, fries, and ice cream out of an Airstream trailer in Williamsburg. This second NYC location at the South Street Seaport looks like a fast food joint with its bright, school bus yellow decor—except for the chrome trailer roof nailed to the ceiling as an homage to the original spot. Thoughts of your barely manageable adult life will fade as you listen to ‘80s hits and eat a bacon hatch chili burger with a bouquet of waffle fries drenched in queso (our favorite combo). Always end your meal with a dairy dip—soft serve on an old-school cake cone with a little holder to catch all the drips.
