Run by a husband-wife duo, Le Paris Dakar has a couple of locations in Bed-Stuy in addition to this newer one in Greenpoint. At this French/Senegalese cafe, you can get coffee, smoothies, and Senegal’s national drink, bissap, in addition to some breakfast and lunch foods. They have a huge selection of crepes stuffed with everything from smoked salmon to peanut butter and jelly, and you can choose from a few simple sandwiches and salads as well. The counter-service space is tiny, and there isn’t much seating inside, but if the weather’s nice, you can grab a little round table on the sidewalk patio.

Le Fanfare is not a burlesque show in Paris, it’s a restaurant in Greenpoint from the folks behind Epistrophe Cafe. Go discover it sometime.

To some people, Achilles Heel is a bar. But we think it’s one of the best restaurants in Greenpoint. Bring a date, sit by the fire, and eat something.
