The best place to be in Phinney Ridge on a summer weeknight is Ridgewood Bottle & Tap. There’s a huge indoor-outdoor setup, a ton of beer available both on draught and in cans, and five different slushies to choose from in not-too-sweet flavors like sake margarita or sour ale creamsicle. The proximity to Red Mill next door is key for a good time here—grab a cheeseburger and a sack of onion rings to bring back to your patio spot. And if you need somewhere to haul your laptop on a Friday afternoon, WiFi is as abundant as frozen prosecco topped with gummy bears.

For some stupendous charbroiled burgers in Seattle, Red Mill in Phinney Ridge is an absolute classic. And don't you dare skip a milkshake and onion rings.
