SEAReview
As far as sit-down pizza spots Downtown goes, Bar Solea is undoubtedly an oasis in a desert. From the same team behind Bruciato, they specialize in “neo-Neapolitan” pies, which allegedly is something between New York-style and Naples-style—and though the dough hovers near the floppy end of the spectrum, it’s still very tasty, from a squash pizza covered in butternut puree and leeks to our favorite, an amatriciana-inspired creation with homemade pancetta lardons. The other plates are a bit forgettable, so stick to pies and cocktails in the ritzy space for a solid night out or business lunch during the week.
