You may have eaten at Williamsburg restaurant Marlow & Sons during its daytime cafe hours, but did you know they transform into a record bar at night? Come by on Thursday night to hear some records and drink special cocktails made with Isolation Proof’s locally distilled summer gin. The bar opens at 5pm, and music goes from 6-10pm. More info here.

There's only one thing that exceeds the chill factor of a “Netflix and Chill” night, and that thing is a conga (or three). Put something breezy on and head over to Chocobar Cortes in the Bronx for “Congas and Chill” night with Danny Conga. You can get a frozen drink made with Puerto Rican chocolate and pretend you’re on an island (instead of watching Love Island on TV).

During the Edo period, uniquely Japanese art flourished—as did soba and unagi. The era's art and most popular foods are coming together at The Gallery this Friday for Rock Show, Sick I Go, a dinner and performance collaboration between artist Enrico Isamu Oyama and Chef Hiroki Odo. You can get tickets to one of three seatings here.

Sure, you can go have a bowl of ramen at a ramen bar, but how many ramen bars have darts, board games, and crossword puzzle competitions? This Friday, you can enjoy all of those things and a few glasses of wine at Phil’s during their Matsuzaka Ramen popup. Go get a bowl from 6-10pm.

We like to live by the rule that we must get fancy at least one day per week. Depending on the week, that could mean getting our hands on some oysters, or it could mean buying two-ply toilet paper. If you’re looking to get decadent, make a reservation for Gertie x Gage & Tollner Fancy Friday. They’re collaborating on seafood towers, steak and eggs, cakes, a martini bar, and more. More info and reservations here.
