Where To Get Dessert Takeout & Delivery In LA
As if your aggressive sweet tooth wasn’t already an issue, now you have the stress of a quarantine triggering it. Tip: Just lean into it. We all need to feel some sweet relief right now, and there’s no shame in a late-night (or early afternoon) sugar binge. Luckily, there are plenty of places in town to help. From classic diners to pie shops to restaurants selling homemade ice cream by the pint, here are some great options for dessert delivery in LA.
The Spots
The Apple Pan has been open for 73 years, and right now marks the first time they’re doing delivery. While you should obviously snag one of their legendary hickory burgers, their desserts are arguably just as special. The banana cream and boysenberry pies are a must. Available from 11am-9pm Tuesday-Sunday.
As the name suggests, you should definitely concentrate on the cobblers at this Inglewood bakery. That said, they serve all sorts of tasty desserts ranging from ice cream to cupcakes to cinnamon rolls. Open daily from 11am-3:30pm, they’re offering both takeout and delivery.
Du-par’s is one of LA’s oldest restaurants and an iconic pilgrimage for any late-night revelers. While 2am meals at The Farmers Market are currently on pause, the good news is you can still get their desserts sent right to your door. From banana splits to hot fudge brownie sundaes to bread pudding, Du-par’s is offering both pick-up and delivery from 9am-6pm daily.
Has the quarantine triggered your once-dormant cookie obsession? Good news - you can now get almost any kind of cookie dough you want from Edoughble Sweet Shop. The popular store in Pico-Robertson serves flavors that range from chocolate chip to birthday cake to cold brew espresso and shipping is available to anywhere in the country. They’re also selling DIY decoration kits as well.
In reality, most of Fred 62’s diner food is best eaten late at night after several rounds of drinks. Their desserts, however, should be eaten whenever you want. Whether it’s a brownie sundae or any of their tremendous malts and shakes, Fred 62’s desserts will give you that soothing sense of nostalgia we all need right now. Takeout and delivery available daily from 9am-11:30pm.
Friends & Family is one of our favorite cafes in East Hollywood and a big reason for that are their desserts. Right now, they’re offering curbside pick-up for their Key lime pie, chocolate dream cake, and rye chocolate chip cookie dough for baking at home, as well as ice cream by the pint. Place your weekly orders every Friday by 5pm for Sunday curbside pickup between 10am-2pm.
HiHo serves one of our favorite burgers in the entire city, but to ignore their desserts is also a huge mistake. From Key lime pie to cheesecake to old-fashioned chocolate shakes, HiHo has tonight’s dessert course covered. Whole pies can also be ordered with 24-hour notice. Both takeout and delivery is available from their Santa Monica and Mid-Wilshire locations, 11:30am-10pm.
Whether it’s fruit pies, cream pies, cheesecake, or sundaes, this classic Los Feliz coffee shop has your sweet-tooth cravings covered. Takeout and delivery available daily from 9am-9:30pm.
The famous cookie delivery service is still here for all your quarantine needs until 3am every night. On top of their regular cookie and ice cream selections, they’ve also created the “DIY Cookie’wich Kit,” which basically allows you to make your own cookie/ice cream sandwiches right from your couch. This tiny pie shop in Eagle Rock is where you go when you want pies with flavors you won’t find in every pie shop around town. Think triple berry cabernet, salted caramel mango rum, and more. Curbside pick-up available on Fridays and Saturdays only. Check their website for hours.
If you’re like us, there’s no way you’re keeping sane through this quarantine without a few runs to Magnolia Bakery for some banana cream pudding. Luckily, the iconic bakery is offering delivery and takeout every day (Sunday-Thursday 10am-7pm, Friday-Saturday 8am-9pm).

Whether you opt for one of their “classic” pies, meringues, or seasonal fruit pies, Pie ’n Burger always delivers. Figuratively, that is - they’re takeout only. Call (626) 795-1123 to order.
Cupcakes might’ve hit their cultural peak a few years ago, but Sprinkles is still going strong. The Beverly Hills original has locations from Newport Beach to Glendale, so you’re never too far away from your next Cupcakes And Chill outing. Takeout and delivery available at most locations featuring all menu items as well as DIY design kits.
Sweet Lady Jane makes everything from tarts to cookies to cakes, but definitely call your nearest location (West Hollywood, Encino, and Santa Monica) to see what’s behind the glass that day. All locations are open daily from 10am-4pm and offer both curbside pickup and delivery on most major platforms.
Located in Inglewood, Sweet Red Peach is a family-run bakery specializing in cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and more. They’re currently offering their entire menu for curbside pick-up, which includes their excellent sweet potato cake (if it hasn’t already sold out). Open Monday-Saturday 11am-8pm and Sundays 11am-5pm.
Ice Cream delivery has its obvious drawbacks, but one place that figured it out is Van Leeuwen. The popular ice shop from NYC now has four locations across LA and each one is offering delivery on most major platforms. Your days of throwing elbows to get the last pint at the supermarket are officially over.
The popular Brentwood pie shop (with a second location in Beverly Grove) is open and baking their vast array of pies from both takeout and delivery. Not only are the pies tasty, they can be made gluten-free or vegan as well. Hours vary by location.
