Ippoh is tiny, with just eight seats around a counter and four tables in the entire place. This is a tempura restaurant, but it bears zero resemblance to the questionable tempura you get from your local Japanese delivery. Instead, you sit at the counter with the chef facing you as he individually deep fries pieces of vegetables and seafood. For deep-fried things, the food here is insanely light. Book way in advance - those eight seats go quickly.
