Tony & Elaine’s is not actually a classic North End restaurant that wants you to think it's old, but just opened in 2019. You will see red-checkered tablecloths, you will see Chianti bottle candle-holders, and you’ll see kitschy wall art, like a print of those two young angels looking bored that you can probably buy at Ocean State Job Lot. And, accordingly, you will see old school Italian dishes, big heaping plates of meatballs and chicken parm. Nothing here will blow you away, but it gets the job done when you’re sick of sharing small plates and just want to stuff your face with the type of Italian food you loved when you were 10.
