Secret Garden

Secret Garden is a pop-up at Stable Cafe in the Mission. They’re serving what we can only describe as kind of Mexican, kind of Lebanese dishes, but mainly focusing on whatever's in season. Grab a plum punch—or any one of their refreshing cocktails—and chill out in the garden setting that’s so lush you’ll wish it was your own private oasis. Life moves a bit slower here, and not just because the line can get long. The grandiose air will drive you to bask in the sun as if you were in the Italian countryside or cozy up next to the fireplace in the greenhouse-like area reminiscent of a wooden cabin. Order the juicy Sonoran-style carnitas tacos, flaky Lebanese pies, and decadent za’atar deviled eggs, and, naturally, stay a while.
