If pairing natural wine and pizza is as important to you as sleeping or breathing, meet Bar Birba. The Italian spot from the For All Things Good team is located in an old pizza parlor, and it still feels like a slice shop, ever so slightly dressed up with dark green walls and Bed-Stuy couples eating meatballs by candlelight. It’s a casual place perfect for guzzling natural wine like the Italian ancestors intended. The Roman-style pizzas al taglio range from $8-$10, and each order comes with two rectangular slices—one for you, and one for someone who also can’t resist a Brooklyn pizza-and-natural-wine spot. The slices are deeply charred, and the toppings are simple: try the classic margherita, and the bianca, with ricotta and lots of crispy rosemary.
