For date night needs in Greenpoint, head to Alameda. It’s a cocktail bar that serves the kind of food that you could either share/pick at as you get to know one another, or actually sit down to eat for a full meal. Plus, the drinks are delicious and interesting enough to give the two of you something to talk about should your conversation take a turn for the worst. And for the atmosphere: there’s a big, beautiful u-shaped bar, good lighting, and plenty of tables for two.
