To get from Nostrand to Washington Ave in Crown Heights, you only need to cross three or four blocks. And yet Tastes Of Brooklyn decided it’d be prudent to give you eight hours to do just that. That’s because they know how many great restaurants there are to try on the way, including the 28 participating in their food crawl on Saturday, October 3rd.
Each spot is offering a couple of their signature dishes, ranging from Mexican street corn and Korean BBQ meatloaf bao buns to coconut popsicles and apple cider with bourbon. You can try four items with the purchase of a $30 ticket, while the $80 option would get you access to 12. All of the proceeds go to benefit Seeds In The Middle, a charity working to create affordable access to healthy food for students and schools in food deserts. You’ll find the food crawl’s full line-up of restaurants, as well as information on tickets, and/or donating to Seeds In The Middle here.
