Yoso Sushi
Included In
Yoso makes the kind of reasonably priced sushi Miami needs more of. The business used to operate out of a food truck in the Design District, but it’s traded in its wheels for a baby blue six-seat counter in the back corner of Upper Buena Vista. The best way to enjoy their nigiri, which is delicately scored and often topped with incredible housemade yuzu kosho, is to order a platter. Yoso's combination for two ($60) or four ($150) people comes with a crisp miso salad, salmon tataki, nigiri, and a maki roll. But if you're looking for a quick lunch or an easy Tuesday dinner, their poke, tempura, and katsu bowls are all reliable. Sit inside for sake and a conversation with the funny chefs, who might share stories from their days working in even smaller spaces.
