This place comes from the same people as the original Via Emilia 9 in South Beach, which is a restaurant we usually save for when we can’t get a table at Macchialina. Their Midtown spot is bigger and has a handful of outdoor tables, but the restaurant itself feels unfinished and impersonal - and the mediocre pasta doesn’t quite make up for it.
MiMo’s ’O Munaciello has a slightly strange decor, but also serves one of the best Neapolitan pizzas in Miami.
Wynwood’s Beaker & Gray is a very good choice for dinner and drinks. Both are going to be great here.
Mamma Leone is a small Italian bakery in Edgewater that serves very good paninis and stuffed focaccia. Come here for a quick lunch or breakfast.
Mister 01 is a fantastic pizzeria located in a random office building just off Lincoln Road.
