Flat Iron Covent Garden

Flat Iron specialises in steak for a tenner. It’s a lesser-known ‘flat iron’ cut (hence the name) that’s perfect with chips or a salad, and they occasionally have posher cuts of beef on the menu (like bavette steaks) and the odd wagyu burger. None of it will leave a gaping hole in your wallet and the quality’s very good for the price, though you probably won’t want to bring a vegetarian. We prefer the Covent Garden restaurant, as it’s easier to get a table as a walk-in - you’re more likely to hit a queue if you go to the Soho original.
