Although it’s hard for anything in Soho to feel hidden, Golden Square still has that out of the way energy to it and it’s where you’ll find Korean spot, Arang. There’s always a buzz by the front door and the tardis-like space has a moody aesthetic with huge black marble tables and golden walls. BBQ grills are on the centre of each table, the pajeon looks like it’s about to pop from all the seafood stuffed in, and somewhere, someone is slurping on stringy glass noodles. Arang is split over multiple floors and there’s space for private dining areas where big group BBQ sessions take place on the regular. It’s not the best Korean food in London, or even in Soho, but it’ll do the job if you’re looking for a post-shopping meal, or a big group dinner that’s more interesting than some small plates.
