This Logan Square sandwich shop is a collaboration between the former Blackbird Chef and a chef from the sandwich spot Turkey and the Wolf in New Orleans. Unsurprisingly, the sandwiches are excellent - like the collard melt, with braised collard greens, cherry-pepper Russian dressing, and Swiss cheese on rye bread. Or the grinder, which includes a tasty orange marmalade. Right now Big Kids is open for takeout and (weather permitting) outdoor dining.
