Pictures turned sepia-toned by time—not by filter—line the wall near the counter. If you meandered over expecting to find the famous people who’ve dined here since 1973, you’d fail. But that’s the charm of Patrick’s—it's a utilitarian sandwich shop that has kept the support of its Underwood Hills neighborhood (like those guests on their wall) for decades. Their hot and cold subs, which range from corned beef to crab salad, are decent. But Patrick’s gets the edge over your normal sandwich shops with solid fried rice and chicken wings, so you can be the takeout hero at your house.
