Sfizio is a small pasta shop (and former pop-up) in the Rockridge neighborhood of Oakland specializing in more affordable pastas. The main act here is the $10 rich red sauce spaghetti (sans meatballs), but the cast of other rotating dishes are worth checking out—like the tagliolini with wild morels that's easily slurpable (go ahead, no one's watching), or the nicely charred grilled carrots with a fun salsa macha. The best way we can describe this space is "trendy casual." There’s a record player, plants, and cookbooks behind the counter where you make your food decisions and also have your drinks made by the same person (a fun, never-ending balancing act).
