It’s nearing the time of year when we start breaking out the fuzzy sock collection and pushing responsibilities off until “after the holidays.” And if you’re looking for a guide to the month’s pop-ups, new openings, and events to occupy yourself while ignoring said responsibilities, you’re in the right place. If getting in the holiday spirit means sipping on festive cocktails, like boozy eggnog shots and spiked hot chocolate with toasted marshmallow fluff, get to Red Window. The Spanish restaurant in North Beach has a new menu of holiday-themed, low-ABV drinks, offered November 25th through December.
Noche Buena is a Filipino American pop-up bar that’s landing in Uptown Oakland’s Viridian on November 28th and 29th. There’ll be holiday-themed cocktails, snacks, and decorations—check out the highlight reel from last year for an idea of what the event will be like.

The Potrero Hill brewery is hosting festive tours to celebrate the return of their seasonal Christmas Ale. For $48, you get a tour of the brewhouse, a tasting of Christmas Ales paired with a cookie from The Baking Endeavor, and a magnum to take home. Book a ticket here. The event runs through the end of December.

The restaurant formerly known as Lord Stanley in Nob Hill is now Turntable, a pop-up series that hosts different chefs every month. On deck for November is Doshi, a NYC-based Korean pop-up serving things like raw halibut with chilled soybean broth and seared tteok and halloumi. Tickets for the $70, four-course menu (and $125, nine-course version) are available here.

Former pop-up Outta Sight Pizza recently opened a slice shop in the Tenderloin. And the pies coming out of the casual spot are phenomenal. Swing by for a quick lunch or an after-work snack—this place is one of the city’s pizza greats.
SF Guide
As of November 2nd, Outerlands has officially brought back dinner service. The Outer Sunset spot will serve things like pappardelle bolognese, roasted chicken with smashed marble potatoes, and mussels, plus wine and beer.
