Samui is a giant new Thai place that, after a few drinks, could convince you you aren’t actually on out-of-the-way block in Fort Greene, but instead in Vegas - thanks to the insane rainbow wall out front, the huge light fixtures, the velvet aqua banquettes, and the misguided heavy-handed cocktails. The Thai food itself is fine, but pretty pricey and probably not much better than your go-to neighborhood spot. This is a place you can safely skip.
