Mezcaleria La Milagrosa is a speakeasy behind a freezer door in a little bodega in Williamsburg - and if all of that sounds like just a little too much for you, you should know that it’s actually a pretty normal bar. You might even be underwhelmed. Once you get past the freezer door (and the host standing outside), you’ll find a small, narrow space where you can stand, grab a stool, or try out some moves on the tiny dance floor in back. If you’re looking to have a more intimate date night, you could give this place a shot. They take reservations, although you probably won’t need one (especially on a weeknight).

Marlow & Sons
Marlow & Sons is one of the original modern Brooklyn restaurants, and it’s still one of the best places to eat in the city.
Pokito is a tiny bar/restaurant near the Williamsburg bridge serving Asian-Latin mashup food in a highly casual (but still vibey) space.
The Commodore is bad. Bad because merely looking at the food here will jack up your cholesterol thirty points, and worse because everything is so good that you’ll crave it all the time.
