If you work around Times Square and need a healthy pick-me-up, Green Symphony is the place to get it. It’s a cozy bodega with a juice and smoothie bar and more brands of protein bars than we knew existed. We’re fans of all the drinks, as well as the cookies made with applesauce instead of sugar (we have yet to confirm if this is actually better for you). There’s a little seating area in the front if you need some time before facing Elmo (or your job) again.

Four years after our first review, Danji is still the restaurant we recommend most in the Midtown/Times Square area.
Year after year, Esca remains in the conversation of the NYC elite. It’s always jam packed, mostly with the business and commuter crowd.
Five years after it opened, the original location of Totto Ramen is still packed pretty much all of the time. That's because it's still awesome.

Madhufalla Green Planet Organics
Madhufalla is a juice bar that cares more about what its serving than what it looks like. That's a rarity in Nolita, and exactly why we like it.
Hawa Smoothies & Bubble Tea
Hawa Smoothies is a tiny, cash-only juice bar in East Village where the drinks have names like “Hot Passion" and “Pom Queen."
