NYCReview
Located on a residential street just off Amsterdam, this intimate Japanese comfort food spot has just a handful of tables, plus a small shrine to Prince, with direct views of the female owner/chef preparing specialties like the onigiri filled with spicy crab sticks and salmon roe. There are classic sushi rolls here too (think spicy tuna and cucumber), along with dishes like chicken curry and maze gohan - rice bowls mixed with cooked smoked salmon, pickles and scallions. Order a bottle of sake (or three) and you’ve got yourself the perfect night out.
