Walking through Capri’s doors is probably the closest you’ll get to a time-space warp to Kansas City in 1978. Luckily, it’s always full of young people and good vibes. It’s hands down the best place in the neighborhood to get a beer and shot.

Three Diamond Door is a go-to bar in Bushwick. They have a happy hour, there’s a nice backyard, and you can dance in the back room on weekends.

For g-rated drinking outings in Greenpoint, head to The Diamond. The shuffleboard and big back patio are good for low-key group hangs.

Lake Street is a neighborhood bar in Greenpoint that’s best for watching sports and throwing back frozen Negronis.
Broken Land’s spacious patio and excellent Piña Colada make it one of the best places to spend an afternoon drinking Brooklyn.
The Good Room is an EDM club in Greenpoint that’s kind of like a big, friendly warehouse party. Shows are usually ticketed, and there’s a disco ball.
