Back in early May, the Momofuku team announced that Ssäm Bar in the East Village was moving to the Wayō space in the Seaport. And now, without any apparent buzz, they opened a new takeout project in late June in the Ssäm Bar space called Momofuku 207, and just started outdoor dining on their patio this past weekend. The voicemail still says Ssäm Bar.
The outdoor dining menu at 207 is pretty short, with things we’d like to eat right now while we’re typing this. In addition to cocktails and frozen drinks, you can try some spicy scallop kimbap, smoked pork burnt ends with a sweet and sour glaze, and fried chicken two ways. Nothing on the menu costs more than $30.
207’s takeout menu is different than what you’ll get if you dine on their sidewalk. You can find all of their to-go options online here, including pantry items, drinks, and a brisket meal that will feed up to five.
207 Momofuku is currently accepting walk-ins, as well as taking reservations (which you can make here). Stop by for outdoor dining from Thursday to Saturday from 5pm to 9pm, or place your takeout order online - also from Thursday to Saturday. Right now, 207 isn’t offering delivery service.
Check out the outdoor dining menu below.
