This is Sylvano’s second Miami location - the first and slightly better version is over on South Beach. We like the atmosphere here - especially the outdoor seating - a little better than the food. Dinner can be hit or miss, so treat it more as a place to have some wine and small plates rather than a big Italian feast.
Mamma Leone is a small Italian bakery in Edgewater that serves very good paninis and stuffed focaccia. Come here for a quick lunch or breakfast.
Tacomiendo is an Edgewater taco truck parked inside an outdoor plant shop. The tacos are simple but tasty - and the place is also BYOB.
The waterfront view is the best thing about Edgewater's Amara. The food doesn't match its splendor.
Macchialina is our favorite Italian restaurant in Miami, and the best reason to eat in South Beach right now. Get the lasagna and sit outside if the weather is nice.
