Casa de Toño is famous for its pozole, and they have several locations throughout Mexico City. A large is about $4 and usually more than enough for one person—we recommend the maciza (lean, white meat pork) or the zucchini blossom and mushrooms. The crispy potato flautas are also excellent, especially when dipped in a side of melted cheese, and you can’t leave without finishing your meal with arroz con leche. The service is extremely efficient and fast, but you won’t be rushed through your meal.
