Lately is a take-out window in Chinatown that serves weekday breakfast and lunch. For now, it’s a very simple set-up as they work towards opening a full sit-down restaurant later this year. You'll order at a window, take a seat at one of the few shaded picnic tables, and eat quick, tasty breakfast classics like doughnuts, waffles, and egg sandwiches. They also have a slow-cooked yam topped with a fried egg, and a fantastic fried green tomato sandwich. The lunch selection is a little smaller, but it includes a simple and delicious kale salad. They’re only open until 1pm and are closed Tuesdays and weekends.
