Detroit Vesey's
Inspired by the Aids Lifecycle, a 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to LA, Detroit Vesey’s is community queer space and café in the Arts District that’s focused on all things cycling. They provide secure indoor bike parking, cycling vending machines (filled with supplies like chains, gloves, lube), and lots of food to fuel your ride—think vegan breakfast burritos, fried chicken sandwiches, and wild mushroom bread pudding. Plus there are tons of metal tables to sit and do work at. Maybe you’re planning a marathon or looking for a helmet that actually fits your head. Whatever it is, this is the place to do it.
