Going for drinks in Soho can mean many things: a swift half, sloppily made G&Ts, or pop classics and sticky floors. But when you want a grown-up, well-made cocktail and somewhere (clean) to sit down, go to Three Sheets. The moody, narrow space is all flickering candles, dark green booths, and humming conversation. Like its Dalston sibling, the classics here are made excellently and the house drinks are creative. Their pisco sour incorporates sweet ice wine and aromatic poire, and the Sazzaquack channels a sazerac’s smooth, strong, syrupy flavour. When the sun’s out and the front windows are folded back, tables spill out front, primed for a clock-off-work-early dirty martini.
