In the evenings, the energy at Thai Tho is electric and the table next to you will laugh 20% louder than necessary, but you won’t mind. Because the deep red chicken massaman curries and peanutty chicken satay make everyone a little excited—us included. The yellow walls and wooden bar make the Thai restaurant feel a little pub-ish, and the cabinet filled with huge tennis balls gives a proud nod to its Wimbledon location. Bring a group and sit in the back area where you can comfortably order a big chunk of the menu of well-executed Thai classics and not worry about being too loud.
