Mio Yatai is a Japanese restaurant at one end of Broadway Market making solid but unspectacular ramen and small plates. Nothing here is likely to make you pause, stare into the middle distance, and rub your chin, but a bowl of BBQ pork tonkatsu ramen will fill you up and keep you happy. The kaarage and yakitori is perfectly decent as well, and the restaurant’s sharing tables encourage the sort of bit-of-this, bit-of-that, in-and-then-out atmosphere that’s decent if you’re looking for something alone, or with a few friends.
