The Bellevue

The Bellevue is an American restaurant that sits right on the triangle in the Gold Coast. It took over the old Tavern On Rush space, and (like its predecessor) is both upscale but still casual enough for the throngs of tourists roaming the neighborhood. This place is open all day and for weekend brunch. The menu has everything from Italian beef wontons to a giant prime rib that will remind you that you’re eating in the Midwest. The food ranges from fine to above average, but the people watching is even better.
