Puttery labels itself as a “mini golf lounge.” Meaning, it’s a fun West Loop spot where you can drink a beer or cocktail while playing putt-putt on a date, or with coworkers in the name of “synergy.” There are two nine-hole courses to choose from, The Library and The Lodge—both of which have cute designs and obstacles like giant books or a polar bear. They also have a dining area and an eclectic menu of dishes like pizza, gyoza, and lamb sliders—all of which are fine. But considering that there are tons of great restaurants nearby, we recommend saving this place for a group activity, or when you have two hours to kill while waiting for a table at Au Cheval.
