CHIReview
With a name like Milky Milky Ice Cream, there are certain expectations about what the ice cream will taste like. And the ice cream from this Ravenswood shop is, in fact, so milky that it’s worth repeating. A few of the flavors highlight the owner’s Filipino heritage, like a nutty ube or one with toffee-covered Skyflakes, a popular saltine cracker in the Philippines. They also have other fun creative flavors like Cinnamon Toast Crunch. They don’t have a brick-and-mortar spot, so until they do (we’re attempting to manifest this) you can find their ice cream at restaurants like Boonie’s and Bayan Ko. And follow their Instagram to find out when you can pick some ice cream up from a farmer’s market or local store.
