Heffer BBQ

To no one’s surprise, beer is why most people go to breweries. While Whiner does make awesome brews, the food from Heffer BBQ (who has a residency there) is an equally valid reason to visit this Back Of The Yards spot. The menu is short and changes frequently, but you can expect  BBQ favorites like brisket and pulled pork, and some of the best smoked wings and burgers in the city. There’s plenty of space in the rustic warehouse space so it’s perfect for groups, and occasionally they host fun events like bingo nights and cat adoption parties (yes, you read that right).
