Folklore Argentine Restaurant
Folklore is a Wicker Park spot that's great for all sorts of situations. This Argentinian restaurant’s dimly lit space and tango-pop playlist works for a dinner date, while its large dining area also has plenty of room for large celebrations. But like its Lakeview sibling, Tango Sur, the best part about this place is the meat. Whether it’s their tender filet mignon, ribeye, or parrillada (a spread that includes chorizo, morcilla, sweetbread, short ribs, and sirloin), at least one of these grilled dishes should make an appearance on your table. And if you need a break from the meat, small plates like the vesuvio potatoes and flaky empanadas are also great.
