Inside the Stassney Foodmart/Texaco on Stassney is Carnitas El Guero. They focus and only do carnitas. You can get carnitas tacos, carnitas tortas, or carnitas by the pound. You can get the carnitas lean or fatty, or with skin. And that’s it. The green tomatillo salsa is great, as is the smoky chipotle red salsa. Also: on October 5th, 2020 they opened a new location inside the Valero at 8906 Brodie Lane (and Davis Ln).
