Miller Union
Since this West Midtown restaurant unofficially claimed the “best corporate dinner” category in 2009 (yup, we made that award up), there’s always some lanyard-wearing assembly in the back corners. Head of HR will gush over the classy, private dining room options. And an upscale Southern menu with $30-and-under dinner entrees will make the accounting department happy, too (the lunch menu has even better deals). The atmosphere is a bit stiff, but the background chatter does a little crescendo as more gin-based Miller Thymes hit the tables. But what we love most is Miller Union’s ever-changing yet consistently delicious upscale Southern menu. Because things are centered on seasonal produce, it’s the kind of place where the daily curated veggie plate tastes just as special as the meat entrees.
