We spend most of our days leading up to New Year’s wondering how they’ll manage to make those NYE glasses display the correct year while still providing eye holes you can actually see through. Functional designs aren’t our strong suit, but we're good at providing restaurant recommendations for every situation. And we think there's no better way to celebrate the end of an era and the beginning of a new one than with a forkful of flavorful food. So wear the stupid glasses, pop the champagne, and hit one of these restaurants for your New Year's festivities.

This West Midtown staple will be hosting a four-course tasting menu for $125 per person with a variety of seafood dishes, including a whole Maine lobster. Sounds like the perfect way to shell-ebrate the new year.

There will be a DJ and plenty of tasty empanadas at El Super Pan’s Battery location on NYE. The $24 cover starts at 9pm, so get there early to stake out a table and prepare for the cava toast at midnight.

This Emory Village Italian restaurant is combining two things we really love: pizza and lobster. Their three-course dinner will feature that pizza aragosta, so we can feel fancy while still eating with our hands.

This upscale French steakhouse in West Midtown will be offering a prix fixe menu for $250 per person (and an $85 wine pairing) for those who want their last meal of 2023 to be an epic feast.

Head to this West Midtown spot to try a few of their special a la carte items on NYE. We’ve got an eye on their tortilla y caviar—a cheesy omelet topped with roe.

Bring the whole family to this VaHi Italian spot for their four-course prix fixe menu, starting at $95 per person. The place might be small, but the pasta packs a punch.

Get the party started early and head to Edgewood for Marcus Bar & Grille’s all-day buffet from 11am-8pm. Two DJ sets and brunch favorites on the buffet line will start your day off on the right foot (then left foot, then right again. Now everybody clap your hands).

You might not make it to the after party spot if you eat this seven-course prix fixe dinner from The Alden. This Chamblee favorite will have truffled potato gnocchi, lobster tom ka, and chatel wagyu wellington on hand for the big night. Maybe finish up with a little caffeine, so you can at least make the countdown.

Now that Dekalb Avenue has been repaved, we have no reservations about going to Lazy Betty for their seven-course tasting menu. The $325 per person price tag might seem steep, but you gotta spend that year-end bonus somehow.

An evening at this coastal-inspired Buckhead Village restaurant will include caviar, cocktails, and a DJ. High-end spirits will flow to keep spirits high as we enter the new year.
